New Jersey law requires patients who are injured in auto accidents and their medical providers to deliver certain information to the auto insurance company in order to receive No-Fault medical insurance benefits under Personal Injury Protection coverage (PIP). This allows the insurance company to preauthorize reimbursement pursuant to the treatment plan.

Your policy says that we must be notified promptly of how, when and where an accident or loss happens. It also says that we are not obligated to cover you unless we have been notified. We promptly investigate and settle all claims under the terms and conditions of the policy.
