NJM is known for dividends. From our earliest days, one of our primary goals has been to return as much money as prudently possible to our policyholders. Dividend payments have been made every year since 1918, a cumulative total of more than $5.0 billion.
Regular Dividends, while not guaranteed, are typically credited at the end of each 12-month policy and are used to reduce your premium payment for the following year. Dividends are not guaranteed in the future.
Personal Auto policyholders are currently receiving 5% of the premiums they paid for their Liability and Physical Damage Coverage as a Regular Dividend.
The NJM Board of Directors reviews data and operating costs, and can declare a Special Dividend in addition to the Regular Dividend.
