This video program will enable health care personnel to move patients safely from the bed to chair while avoiding injury to the lifter. Lifts that will be covered in this video are the top and tail lift, as well as a shoulder lift. Also, the pivot transfer, standing transfer, stepping transfer, and the frame transfer are covered in detail. (11 Minutes)

This video program will demonstrate techniques that should enable health care personnel to transfer patients from their bed to the wheeled stretcher while at the same time minimizing the injury risk to the health care personnel. An emergency turn in bed will be demonstrated as well as the use of glide boards, Jordan frames, and the log lift. Also, proper use of the canvas and poles is demonstrated. (13 Minutes)
