A PPE checklist including shoes, apron, gloves, goggles, respirators and hearing protection is reviewed. Ozone health effects, toxic gases and fumes that are formed during welding are covered. Inspection and grounding of equipment, welding and cutting health hazards as well as physical hazards are discussed. Hot work permits, fire watches, how to minimize burn risks, electrical shock and ultraviolet radiation are highlighted.
