HAND SAFETY This program identifies the three important steps in guarding against hand injury. They are as follows: 1) Be aware of the potential hazards, 2) Be disciplined to follow safe procedures and 3) Make appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The hazards addressed include manual handling, hand tools, mechanical hazards, contact hazards, contact dermatitis and housekeeping practices that should be avoided. (14 Minutes)

HAND INJURY PREVENTION: IN TOUCH WITH SAFETY This video program will train employees to follow safe work practices when using their hands. Employees will learn about the following factors that lead to hand injuries, their causes and how to prevent them: 1) pinch points, 2) excessive force or repetition, 3) hot spots, 4) sharp objects, 5) toxic or corrosive chemicals, 6) electrical shocks or burns.
