This video uses Dr. Timothy Johnson of ABC News to narrate this most informative program. After a brief description of the anatomy of the spine, Dr. Johnson explains the effects of lifting, turning and twisting on the spine. It clearly describes why a load should be carried as close to the body as possible, in addition to demonstrating proper lifting techniques.
