— This is the Spanish language version of #613. This video is geared toward housekeeping or janitorial personnel, laboratory workers, emergency or first aid squad members, or others who may have occupational exposure to blood. This program follows the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1030. Taking precautions to protect yourself are emphasized. This program cites several examples of bloodborne pathogens, including Hepatitis B Virus and HIV and other potentially infectious body fluids. Potential routes of entry, universal precautions, exposure control plan, personal protective equipment, clean-up protocols and the importance of hand-washing are covered. All blood and body fluids should be treated as if they were infected. The HBV vaccine and reporting exposures are also reviewed. (16 Minutes)
