The more chances you take, the greater your chance of getting injured. Examples of electrical, mechanical, chemical, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic and stored energy hazards are given. Who procedures apply to and a basic lockout/tagout policy are covered, including: training, notification, pre-planning and review, identifying and neutralizing energy sources, lockout, tagout, testing the equipment and restarting the equipment.
