NJM Insurance Group Earns Fourth Consecutive J.D. Power Certification for Providing an "Outstanding Claims Experience" for Personal Lines Customers

WEST TRENTON, NJ — NJM Insurance Group has once again received the Auto Claims Certification from J.D. Power, a global leader in consumer insights and advisory services. For the fourth year in a row, this impressive designation recognizes NJM for providing an outstanding personal auto claims experience.

Eligibility for J.D. Power's Claims Certification Program℠ involves a rigorous independent audit of the claims process, including a survey of recent claimants and an evaluation of claims performance across all key areas of the claims process. The audit and claims evaluation resulted in NJM satisfying 86 out of 87 evaluation metrics — a 98.8% success rate, which is well above the minimum requirement of 80%.

The Claims Certification is the second recognition by J.D. Power this year. In June, NJM was named #1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the J.D. Power 2021 Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study (AIS). NJM's score of 867 (on a 1,000-point scale) is 25 points higher than the regional average.
