NJM Announces Partnership to Offer Motorcycle/ATV Coverage
May 12, 2016WEST TRENTON, NJ — NJM, the Garden State's largest property-casualty insurer, today announced a partnership with American Modern Insurance Group, a leading provider of specialty insurance, to offer coverage for motorcycles, ATVs and similar vehicles.
The types of motorcycles that can be underwritten include standard motorcycles, cruisers, dirt bikes, dual purpose, SuperSports, trike conversions, Tourings, motor scooters, and mopeds. Golf carts, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and four, six, or eight-wheeled utility vehicles are also eligible. The program covers most major brands, and includes the choice of full coverage, liability plus comprehensive, or liability only.
According to Tracy McManimon, Vice President of Personal Lines for NJM, "Given the increasing popularity of motorcycles and recreational vehicles, we are pleased to add this coverage to our portfolio. This will help better meet the expanding needs of our existing policyholders while broadening our appeal to prospective policyholders."
Several coverage options are available. In addition to Liability and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists coverage, customers can also select Medical Payments and Physical Damage (Comprehensive and/or Collision for your vehicle and its accessories). Other options include travel loss reimbursement, rental reimbursement, and transport trailer coverage.
