NJM is one of only 50 companies to receive distinction in the U.S.
March 20, 2012
WEST TRENTON, NJ — New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company (NJM) was recognized at the J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Roundtable in Orlando, Fla. on March 14, 2012 as a 2012 Customer Service Champion—one of only 50 companies to have earned this distinction this year.
This is NJM's second year on this elite list. To qualify, companies must not only excel within their own industry, but also must stand out among leading brands in 20 major industries. J.D. Power measured companies on five factors — People, Presentation, Process, Product, and Price — and NJM was noted for standing out in all five factors.
To identify the 2012 Customer Service Champions, J.D. Power evaluated more than 800 brands. The 2012 Champions were identified based on customer feedback, opinions, and perceptions gathered primarily from J.D. Power's syndicated research in 2011. This group of 50 represents the highest-performing U.S. companies that deliver service excellence — both within their respective industry and across all industries measured.
Bernie Flynn, President and CEO of NJM, said, "We are honored to be included in this elite group of companies, which were chosen through survey responses from consumers. Our mission is to serve the best interests of our policyholders, and these results are further confirmation that we are meeting that charge each and every day."
NJM insures more than 790,000 private passenger autos in New Jersey, more than any other carrier. The Company operates in the mutual fashion, exclusively for the benefit of policyholders. NJM has returned more than $5 billion in dividends to policyholders since 1918, including a Special Dividend mailing of $32.5 million last November.
In addition to Personal Auto insurance, NJM provides Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Homeowners, Flood, and Umbrella insurance. Eligibility to apply is available to members of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) and their employees, and employees of the State of New Jersey.
