NJM Receives Jefferson Award for Public Service

In 2016 NJM was recognized for its social responsibility practices by several organizations. Among them was the New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Awards for Public Service, given annually to individuals, organizations and groups that have achieved measurable community impact and represent outstanding acts of public service.

NJM Employees Volunteer at HomeFront’s Camp Mercer

Each year, NJM employees volunteer to assist with activities for children at HomeFront's Camp Mercer as part of its "Wonderful Wednesday" program. HomeFront provides shelter, job skills, childcare and academic support to families who are homeless or are in danger of losing their homes.

Serving Lunch at Trenton Area Soup Kitchen

As part of NJM’s Community Volunteer Program, numerous employees helped serve lunches at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, which feeds the hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons.

The NJM Personal Lines Sales team served 400 lunches at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
