Information You'll Need
- Your insurance policy number (if available)
- Information about you (contact info, relationship to policyholder, etc.)
- Date and time of the incident
- Incident location
- Description of incident/damage
- Photos of damage (if available)
Try to report your claim as quickly as possible. If you need to report a claim for damage to your windshield or vehicle glass, or if your claim requires immediate assistance, please contact our 24-hour Claims Center at 1-800-367-6564.
Transportation Expense Reimbursement
Did you know that your NJM policy provides reimbursement for temporary transportation expenses if you're involved in a covered loss?*
Most people choose to rent a car, but you can also be reimbursed for using a ride sharing service or taxi.
If you decide to rent a car, there are three different ways that NJM may provide payment to the rental agency:
You may need to pay the rental agency directly and we'll reimburse you.**
NJM may be able to set up a direct billing with your rental agency. In this case, we will send payments directly to the agency.**
If you prefer to use Enterprise Rent-A-Car, NJM can set up your reservation and pay them directly.**
In most cases, coverage from your NJM policy will extend to your use of the rental vehicle, so you won't need to purchase insurance through the rental agency.
