Carli Lloyd, 2015 Women's World Cup MVP, joins Company leaders for announcement; Payments to be sent from late-November through mid-December

WEST TRENTON, NJ — NJM Insurance Company, one of New Jersey's leading automobile insurers, announced today that it is once again sending out Special Dividends payments to its approximately 434,000 personal auto insurance policyholders. These customers will share in $55 million, with average payments of $125 arriving in their mailboxes from late November through mid-December. The 2015 Special Dividend mailing was launched today at a special event at the NJM corporate offices in West Trenton, featuring a guest appearance by Carli Lloyd, MVP of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup and NJM policyholder since 1999.

"We are delighted for the 22nd year in a row to issue special dividend checks to our policyholders. NJM was founded in 1913 with a single focus — to serve our policyholders. Perhaps nothing demonstrates this commitment more than our dividends, under which every penny of underwriting profit goes back to our policyholders, not stockholders," said Bernie Flynn, NJM President & CEO.

The Special Auto Dividend is calculated on a basis of six (6) percent of premiums paid during 2014, and is provided in addition to Regular Dividends offered at the time of policy renewal. The $55 million now being mailed is the largest Special Dividend provided to policyholders since 2008. NJM's dividend legacy extends back to 1918, with a total return to policyholders that now approaches $5.8 billion.

"NJM has a proven track record of providing exceptional service and consistently sharing its financial success with policyholders," said Carli Lloyd. "My relationship with NJM as a policyholder has spanned 16 years, and they are truly the champions of auto insurance for New Jersey."
