President’s Message

These past two years have been uniquely challenging for business owners. You persevered through events beyond your control, and NJM has worked to be there every step of the way to assist you.

We have protected businesses for more than 108 years, and we have been the leading workers’ compensation provider in New Jersey for more than seven decades. The past two years have demonstrated why so many businesses have confidence in their NJM Insurance coverage: we are there for our policyholders when they need us most.

NJM continues to execute its strategic plan to expand our operations to meet the needs of our policyholders. We have introduced several new products: ProEdge Businessowners Policy (BOP), commercial general liability (CGL), and commercial excess and umbrella coverage. We also expanded our geographic footprint to better serve existing policyholders and attract new ones. We now write in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. These efforts are designed to make NJM a total package solution for your business.

Technology has driven a lot of change in the insurance industry in the last decade. We invested in our technology infrastructure and developed new tools to provide a superior customer experience. Recently at NJM, we have:

• Enhanced our online payment system
• Created a portal for online policy management
• Enhanced our online loss prevention offerings

These tools make it easy for you to personalize your experience as we work to satisfy all of your insurance needs while maintaining the highest levels of service, integrity, and financial stewardship.
