To enroll, you will need:

  • Your NJM policy number, including the letter and all the numbers without the dash. You can find your policy number on your bill.
  • The amount due from your most recent monthly invoice.
  • A valid email address.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for NJM's eCash™ service?

eCash™ is available for customers with auto, homeowners, renters or workers' compensation policies to view and pay NJM bills online once a User ID and Password are established.

Are there any special requirements to establish a User ID and Password?

The User ID must be between six and 32 alphanumeric characters. The Password must be at least eight characters, contain at least one letter and one number, no more than seven numbers and no more than two consecutive identical characters.

Why is my email address required?

Your email address will be used to send notifications for successful payments, payments declined by your financial institution and new bills when you enroll in paperless billing. It will not be used for any other purpose.

Can I pay online or sign up for the eCash™ service if my policy is not currently active?

No, if your policy is currently not in force, please contact our Collections Department at 1-800-232-6600, ext. 4013 to discuss your payment options. You may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
