Carol Voorhees has served as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer since April 2018.
Voorhees leads Information Technology and the Company’s Project Management and Customer Experience Departments. In those roles, she leads technology and digital transformation efforts in support of NJM’s strategic goals, while ensuring that those efforts remain focused on improving the policyholder experience.
She also oversees NJM’s Marketing Department, strategically promoting NJM’s nationally recognized customer and claims service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Voorhees joined NJM in 1996 as a systems analyst. Over the ensuing years, she held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in her election by the Board of Directors to Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer.
She represents NJM on the NJ PBS Board of Trustees and the Thomas Edison State University Foundation Board. In addition, Voorhees is an active member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting Society and holds a CPCU designation.
Voorhees graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a B.S. in organizational leadership and earned an M.S. in insurance management from Boston University.
